ManneringParkis a small township located on a peninsula on the southern shores of Lake Macquarie, in the northern region of the Central Coast, about 95 kilometres - or a 70 minute drive - north of Hornsby, Sydney. 

First settled in 1911, the abundance of fish led to the establishment of commercial fishing on the lake (a practice that ceased in 2002).  Today, it supports a population of around 2,500 people and has tennis courts, open basketball and netball courts, two ovals, and a long lakefront reserve.  Vales Point Reserve is ideal for families, featuring picnic tables, electric BBQ’s, seating and swimming facilities.
