BIG4 Lake Macquarie Monterey Tourist Park: In 1998 the Dudley family purchased an antiquated (1950’s established) caravan park on Lake Macquarie. Since 2001 we have improved the park from a 3 STAR AAA rating to a 3 ½ STAR rating, and added 23 quality accommodation units. Powered sites have been increased from none to 42 large, grassy powered sites in premium locations with wonderful lake views. In 2004 we joined BIG4 Holiday Parks as a member park to align ourselves with the premier holiday park chain in Australia. We offer a quality tourism experience also providing choice sites for caravans and tents. The few remaining old-time residents are proud to live in the upgraded park, sharing their fishing and boating knowledge with guests whilst benefiting from our improved facilities.
